What is this? Mary our cat (named after that famous Scottish Queen) checking out a portrait of her arch nemesis.

Actually I think she is looking at her own reflection, but I had to get the pic anyway. Can you tell I'm a wee bit Tudor mad? ![]()

Three things that I have learned in 2008 would be:
1. Patience in living within my own body, and health as I learn how to deal with Graves' Disease. This has not been easy, but I think I'm starting to learn how to cope better, which may promote better healing.
2. I have learned how to use Joomla, which makes web development so much simpler. I have built a total of 5 websites, 2 commercial using Joomla this past year.
3. I have learned that despite the health issues I would rather be in my 40s then go back to the turmoil of my 20s, and that is a good thing. I hope I'll find the 50's equally as fun, but that is still a few years off. ![]()
Happy H.O.T. day and thanks so much for stopping by!
Cheers!

Yeah....it is that time again when we pull down the holiday greeting cards, the decorations, and the lights, and pack away our Christmas tree (we have an artificial one that has seen over 20 years worth of holidays) until next year. That is what I'll be up to this weekend, and while it is kind of sad I know that I'll be feeling a sense of accomplishment too, once it is done. Other then that I'll probably spend the rest of the weekend relaxing.
The kid, and I want to do a homemade spa day tomorrow. You know put on face masks, and do our nails. Should be fun and a perfect way to beat the holiday burn-out we are now feeling. ![]()
Cheers!

Just want to take a moment to wish you all a very healthy, and happy new year! 2008 was a pretty rough year for most of the people I know, so I sincerely hope that 2009 brings better things for all of us!
Happy New Years!
